Roy Keane favourite to suceed Strachan ?
When the inevitable happens, and the demands for Strachan’s head reach a deafening roar, surely Roy Keane must be the natural successor ? He seems Peter Lawells’ type, in that he has made an art form of buying crap players for loads of money, (McCourt being the notable exception, in Strachan’s case), and fits the bill as being ‘Celtic-minded’, unlike Strachan.
Both of them will probably be sacked by December, so no compensation for Lawell to pay Sunderland, it looks like a certainty. Before the ‘Strachan won 3 in a row’ brigade start, don’t forget to add in that in reality, he would have won nothing and been bagged already other than the fixture congestion, that some folk inexcipably see as ‘only an excuse’. Maybe just cause it was Rangers that had to do so ?

aye well that would be a sight to see.Roy and Neil on the same bench…the fans would love that anyway…Celtic fans know they were lucky last season and wee gordy rode his luck..this season will be different..4 in a row..yer havin a laff..
