Turkey Carving Knife

Did your parents ever have one of the first electric knives for carving roasts and turkeys and stuff?

Or did they just rely on the old fashioned cut it yourself knives?

Good ole fashion way.
I would be scared if it was electric. I would freak out.hehe.
It sounds crazy but true. I have a thing about knives.
When I was 10 I took a ham knife(butcher knife).
Being a stupid little kid trying to cut lemons with my friend. I didn’t listen to her or my dad. Chopped the lemon, the knife went through the lemon & to my hand. I was lucky to have only 3 stitches.
Now I twitch every time I see sharp knives. How do ya think I would do with an electric one?hehe
